River Severn, Bridgnorth webcam

Our webcam overlooking the River Severn

This is our webcam which overlooks the River Severn from High Town to Low Town.  The camera is located on the side of the Theatre on the Steps and we are grateful to them for allowing us to mount the camera on their building.  Although the image does refresh once every five minutes, this page won't so you need to refresh the page once every five minutes to see the new image.

Snow in Bridgnorth

The residents of Low Town woke to a snowy scene one Sunday morning in March 2006.

Spring in Bridgnorth

Spring had just started when this picture was taken and the trees are starting to gain their leaves.

Summer in Bridgnorth

A warm August day and the flowers hanging on the bridge can just be seen. Bridgnorth Town won a gold award for the town category and a certificate of merit for the town workforce in the annual Britain in Bloom competition

Floods in Bridgnorth

In December 2006 the river peaked at 4.67m, though there wasn't the widespread flooding which has happened in the past.

Fog in Bridgnorth

A misty day in December 2006 and the bridge and Low Town are completely obscured.

Christmas in Bridgnorth

As Christmas approached the bridge was decked with lights.
