Arts Strategy

During the Summer of 2003 we carried out a wide consultation with residents of Bridgnorth District, our partners and arts organisations to produce a new Arts Strategy.

Why do we need a new strategy?

The Service completed the delivery of a three year Arts Development Plan, which cam to an end in April 2004. The new strategy will run from April 2004 - March 2009 and has been developed to ensure that the Service continues to move forward, in a way which reflects our changing communities. This will provide strong direction for the Service in the coming years.

What is in the Strategy?

The Strategy outlines the feedback we received during consultation workshops held over Summer 2003, where the service is now, where we would like to be in five years time and how we intend to get there.

The Arts Strategy contains a detailed Action Plan describing the projects we intend to deliver during the next five years. This is a working document which will change and develop during the lifetime of the Strategy.
