For out of hours emergencies
The Council operates an emergency contact service which can be obtained by telephoning Bridgnorth (01746) 713100 which will connect you to a message service giving you the telehone number of the 'Out of Hours' service or the opportunity to leave a message. This service should only be contacted for genuine emergencies.

How to get to us
Our offices are located in the town of Bridgnorth in Shropshire in the West Midlands and you can download a map of how to get to us. (253kb) The map below shows where Bridgnorth is in England (click on it for a larger version).

Directions to Bridgnorth District Council Offices. (By road)
From the north (Shrewsbury) - Take the A458 following signs for Stourbridge, on approaching Bridgnorth take left turn (past Nock Deighton Auctioneers) and follow Wenlock Road (signposted Bridgnorth Town Centre). The Council offices are at the foot of the hill on the right hand side.
From Telford (Exit 5 - M54) - follow signs for Kidderminster / Bridgnorth on A442. On approaching roundabout take third exit (signposted Shrewsbury - A458) across the river. At roundabout take third turning towards Bridgnorth Town Centre. The Council offices are at the bottom of the hill on the left hand side at the junction of Wenlock Road / Ludlow Road (entrance off Wenlock Road).
From Wolverhampton - On the A454 follow signs for Bridgnorth. As you approach the town, go straight across roundabout (signposted Bridgnorth / Telford). On entering Bridgnorth at the roundabout (opposite Bandon Arms public house) take left turn towards Kidderminster. Follow this road (passing Esso garage on
the left) across traffic lights to the roundabout. At the roundabout take right turn (signposted Shrewsbury) across the river. At roundabout take third turning towards Bridgnorth Town Centre.
The Council offices are at the bottom of the hill on the left hand side at the junction of Wenlock Road / Ludlow Road (entrance off Wenlock Road).
From the south (A 442 from Kidderminster). On entering Bridgnorth turn left (1st exit) at roundabout (signposted Shrewsbury - A 458) across the river. At roundabout take third turning towards Bridgnorth Town Centre. The Council offices are at the bottom of the hill on the left hand side at the junction of Wenlock Road / Ludlow Road (entrance off Wenlock Road).
From Stourbridge. Follow A458 (Shrewsbury / Bridgnorth). As you come into Bridgnorth follow signs for Town Centre / Shrewsbury. Go straight ahead through pedestrian lights, taking second turn off roundabout across the river (signposted Shrewsbury - A458). At roundabout take third turning towards Bridgnorth Town Centre.
The Council offices are at the bottom of the hill on the left hand side at the junction of Wenlock Road / Ludlow Road (entrance off Wenlock Road).
Using Public Transport
- By Rail: Telford Station is approximately a 20 minute taxi ride away or Wolverhampton Station is approximately a 45 minute taxi ride away. For information on train operators and times phone National Rail Enquiries on 0845 7484950.
- By Air: Birmingham Airport is approximately 1 hours drive away.
- By Bus: Rural Transport Partnership.
