The management of our portfolio includes aquisitions and disposals of council-owned land and property, and estate management.

The key areas of activities are rent reviews and lease renewals, new lettings, property records, land and workspace project development, asset management and valuation.

Premises to let

We have a portfolio of industrial and commercial properties within the district.

The portfolio is jointly managed with Shropshire County Council who also share ownership of some of the premises.

Our industrial units range in size from 26m² (283 sq.ft.) to 650m² (7000 sq.ft.) and are mainly located in Bridgnorth, Alveley and Highley. Units are available on flexible letting terms with rents ranging from £2.30 to £4.50 per square feet depending on size and location.

• Stanley Lane Industrial Estate provides 21 small and medium workshop units located close to the centre of Bridgnorth
• Alveley Industrial Estate is located on the site of a former colliery - the industrial units comprise a mixture of converted mine buildings, more recent large units and modern purpose-built starter industrial units.
• Netherton Workshops, Highley 4 modern units together with 4 further units owned by Advantage West Midlands.

Inward Investment

We have close links with local commercial agents and industrial estate owners and are able to provide advice to potential inward investors.

We are also a member of Invest in Shropshire, a dedicated Shropshire-wide partnership which co-ordinates inward investment requests and provides support for existing businesses.
