Coaching Opportunities

We currently have opportunities for sports coaches and assistants to deliver on TOPs after school sessions and the popular Energized and Xtreme holiday programmes.

The TOPS programme can offer paid opportunities during term time from 3.00pm - 5.00pm in schools throughout the district. The aim of the programme is to enable young people to enjoy top quality sports opportunities appropriate to their age and stage of development.

Energized runs throughout the Bridgnorth District during the school holidays for 4-11 year olds. The programme gives children the opportunity to try out different sports and learn new skills. For 12-17 year olds Xtreme offers various activities to make the school holidays more enjoyable, providing young people with the chance to show off their skills or learn new tricks on the mobile skate ramps.

Information for applicants:

• Must be 16 years of age.
• Must be enthusiastic.
• Must possess good communication and time keeping skills.
• Experience of working with children and young people is desirable.
• National Governing Body qualification, CSLA or JSLA award desirable.
• Training can be provided.
• Desirable that coaches have access to their own transport.
• All offers of employment will be subject to CRB clearance.
• Salary will depend on qualifications and experience.
