Bridgnorth and South Shropshire Revenues Partnership, as well as all Local Authorities, are responsible for the adminstration of Housing and Council Tax Benefit.

Housing and Council Tax Benefits are National Welfare Benefits designed to help people on low-income pay their rent and council tax.

Useful Links

  • Income Support - Provides financial help for people between 16 and 60 who are on a low income or who are not in full time paid work for day to day living expenses.
  • Jobseekers Allowance - For people available for and actively seeking work.
  • Incapacity Benefit - If you cannot work because of ill health or a disability, you may be able to claim Icapacity Benefit.
  • Pension Credit - Available to people aged 60 or over living in Great Britain.
  • Working Tax Credit - Financial support for people on a low income. You do not have to have children to claim.
  • Child Tax Credit - Child Tax Credit is a payment from the government to support people with children.
