Special educational needs - disabled students allowance

The Disabled Students Allowance is intended to help to pay any extra costs or expenses you incur in attending your course that arise because of your disability. The allowance is not meant to pay for disability related costs that you would have whether you were a student or not. There are three allowances to cover different areas of need.
