Shropshire Healthy Eating Award

The Shropshire Healthy Eating Award is a new scheme supported by all of the Environmental Health Departments in the County.

The aim of the award is to encourage food businesses to offer healthy options on their menus.

The Shropshire Healthy Eating Award will be given to premises that satisfy the following criteria:

Provision and promotion of healthy food choices No smoking within the premises Good standards of food hygiene Staff trained in respect of food hygiene Breastfeeding friendly (gold and platinum level)

There are four award levels (Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum) based on the level of compliance with the above criteria.
