Search Fees

The required fees are as follows:-

Please note

If searches are cancelled later than 9.00am on the day of receipt the fee will not be returned, as the processing of the search will have started.

If searches are incorrectly forwarded to this authority or are cancelled before the start of the search, the fee will be returned less the cancellation fee above, to cover administration costs.

Personal Searches

Personal searches are now available online and are only undertaken from 9.30 a.m. to 12.00 noon Monday to Friday. Appointments may be made from one to fourteen days in advance. A date and time slot of your choice can be booked. Each property to be searched will require a 30-minute appointment. A maximum of three appointments can be booked for any one day. The charge of £11.00 for each appointment must be paid electronically at the end of the form. We will also require a copy of the plan in advance (either online, post, or in person or by fax - 01746 764414). A Schedule of Entries held in the Local Land Charges Register will be produced against the property.
