Club Development

Support can be provided to local sports clubs to increase membership, recruit new coaches and volunteers, train existing coaches and volunteers and raise funds. We are particularly keen to support clubs to achieve Clubmark Accreditation. Clubmark (or it's National Governing Body of Sport equivalent) shows that a sports club offers a safe, effective, equitable and friendly environment for young people to gain sports coaching, competitive experiences and social skills. For further information about the accreditation scheme in your sport either contact the Youth Sport Development Officer or your local Governing Body Officer.
