Activities

• Mini beast hunting - search for insects within the grass, under stone and in the trees
• Pond dipping - take a net and a container and see what you can find
• Histroy search - find out about past uses of the parks
• Tracking - look for signs of animal tracks
• Walks - there are several short walks to enjoy at all sites
• Cycling - cycle route, Route 45 runs through the park
• In summer months why not enjoy a picnic in one of our parks? Read our Picnic Safety tips. Please remember to take your rubbish home with you!

School Groups

We also offer school and group visits.

In all the activities the emphasis is very much on the children to discover the environment for themselves, with the help of qualified staff, and to have fun in the process.
