Promoting Community Safety is one of Bridgnorth District Council priorities.

Community Safety

In 2004 Bridgnorth District Council took part in a countrywide audit of crime and public consultation exercise, which enabled five crime and disorder priorities to be identified. These are:

  • Anti Social Behaviour
  • Substance Misuse
  • Drugs
  • Alcohol
  • Crime against the Person
  • Domestic Violence
  • Violence on the streets
  • Hate crime
  • Property Crime
  • Domestic burglary
  • Business crime
  • Vehicle crime
  • Perceptions of crime

Bridgnorth District Council will be working with its partners both locally and countywide to address the identified priorities.
